Job Description:

McCarthy Consulting, a well-established global entity, is seeking a dynamic and experienced FMCG External Sales Representative with a focus on new business development. The successful candidate will be responsible for calling on FMCG retail outlets, including renowned names like SPAR and Pick n Pay. Key Responsibilities:

Cold Calling and New Business:

Conduct cold calls to generate leads and identify new business opportunities. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients. Develop and execute effective sales strategies to secure new business partnerships.

Growing Current Client Relations:

Foster and strengthen relationships with existing clients. Provide exceptional customer service to maintain client satisfaction and encourage repeat business. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within the client base.

Language Proficiency:

Fluency in Afrikaans and English is mandatory for effective communication with clients and colleagues.

Professional Conduct:

Maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions with clients, colleagues, and business partners. Act as a brand ambassador for our organization.

Criminal Clearance:

A clear criminal record is required for this position.

Qualifications and Experience:

Proven experience as an External Sales Representative with a focus on FMCG retail outlets. Strong background in cold calling and sourcing new business. Ability to effectively communicate in Afrikaans and English. An understanding of the FMCG industry and key retail players, including SPAR, Pick n Pay, and similar outlets.

Strong negotiation and sales skills. Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities. Goal-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets. Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Package and Remuneration:

Competitive basic salary ranging from R15,000.00 to R18,000.00 per month.

Company vehicle. Fuel and cellphone allowance. Commission on successful sales. Opportunities for career growth and development.
