Position: Vodacom Retail Administrator Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: R7,000.00 – R8,000.00 per month

About Cellular Citi Group: Cellular Citi Group, a part of the Vodacom network, is committed to delivering superior products and services to our valued customers. With 11 stores and a focus on excellence, we are seeking a skilled Retail Administrator to join our team at the Brookside Mall Vodacom Store. This role requires an experienced, self-motivated, and vibrant individual to ensure efficient sales and after-sales service.

Job Description: As a Retail Administrator, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our Vodacom Store. Your responsibilities will include overseeing store readiness for trade, back-office responsibilities, repair device management, stock management, HR assistance, and sales support.

Store Readiness for Trade:

Daily checks and management of staff tools. Ensuring computers and media devices are operational, troubleshooting as needed. Replenishing stationery. Managing the cleanliness of the store with a daily, weekly, and monthly roster. Participating in daily Power meetings to energize staff.

Back Office Responsibilities:

Efficient issuance of devices and sim card stock to sales staff. Processing contracts, upgrades, and insurance claims with required documentation. Daily reconciliation to ensure accurate paperwork corresponds to till receipts and Vodacom deal sheets. Daily customer care calls for activations, sim swaps, new contracts, and connectivity.

Follow-up calls for pending paperwork and activations, ensuring timely resolution. Capturing all staff contracts, connectivity, insurance, prepaid, and upgrade sales. Daily capturing of prepaid claims and reconciliation. Managing transfer of ownership and ensuring customer updates until completed.

Assisting with deal matches, decline reviews, and customer complaints. Filing all paperwork daily. Answering the telephone promptly during busy periods. Assisting Store Manager with sales figures. Managing fiber and wireless sales installations.

Repair Devices:

Checking all job cards for accuracy. Capturing all repairs and ensuring dispatch to the repair center with daily follow-up. Managing loan devices issued to customers. Arranging delivery when needed to enhance customer experience.

Stock Management:

Assisting Store Manager with stock checks, loading, dating, and packing. Managing aged stock to reduce redundancy. Assisting with merchandising for enhanced customer assistance. Ensuring all staff have updated stock-on-hand reports daily. Managing reservations of stock. Handling faultiest and returns with the manager. Assisting with replenishment, accessories, and stock ordering.

HR Assistant to Manager:

Assisting Store Manager with biometric staff clocking via Trac Tech Time Management and Registers. Managing staff uniforms as per Vodacom prescribed dress code. Assigning tea and lunch rosters for shifts to ensure smooth staff rotation on the sales floor. Managing staff leave applications via ESS (Employee Self Service).

Sales Assistant:

Pitching calls to clients with eligibility for upgrades, insurance, and fiber offerings. Checking coverage for connectivity options and quoting prices. Assisting on the sales floor as needed.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of administration experience in a Vodacom retail store. Proficient in Vodacom systems (MII, C3D, VCP, VPP). Proficient in Excel with the ability to filter and sort data. Able to commute daily to and from Malls. Prepared to work early or stay late for product launches and festive periods.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 8 am – 5 pm
  • Saturday: 8 am – 5 pm
  • No work on Sundays and public holidays.

Package:

  • Basic salary plus commission after probation.
  • Retirement annuity after one year of employment.
  • 50% medical aid contribution after one year of employment.
